The Gallery at 48 Natoma
The City of Folsom Community and Cultural Services Division opened the Gallery at 48 Natoma in June of 2007. As part of a dual purpose building combined with a senior lounge, the Gallery and Art Center at 48 Natoma comprise the entire front half of the 11,000 sq ft facility. An interesting line-up of art exhibits showcases a wide variety of art by regional and national artists, area museum collections as well as national traveling exhibitions. Art classes offer quality fine art instruction in a variety of classes beginning at six year olds to adults in subjects of ceramics, painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, and photography, Chinese Brush painting, children’s art camps, dance classes, music and many more.

Whether you “know what you like” or are interested in trying something completely different; from the conservative to the cutting edge – there is something here for everyone.

• Exciting art experiences for ALL AGES.

• Each fine art exhibit is approximately six to eight weeks long.

• Opening receptions are usually the first Friday of each exhibit with live music and refreshments.

• Most art is available for sale.

• The gallery is free and open to the public. Hours are Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:00pm, and Tuesday and Wednesday evenings 6:00pm-8:00pm. Please call for current hours (916)355-7285.

• Special free tours and low cost art workshops for schools and groups by arrangement.

• Volunteer, student internships, senior projects and docent opportunities are available for those that want to get more involved in the arts.
